Professor Cathy Treadaway spoke about HUG at the UNISON Cymru ‘Stars in our Schools seminar’ in Cardiff on November 21st 2024. Cathy’s presentation included stories from recent studies in which HUG has been helping relieve anxiety for children, young carers, individuals on the autistic spectrum and those with learning disabilities.
The audience included teaching assistants and support staff from schools across Wales.
Cathy based the presentation for the seminar on her chapter in the recently published edited book Design for Dementia, Mental Health and Wellbeing.
